About me
Andrew brings financial transparency to complex problems with a keen eye towards operational efficiency and organizing for effectiveness. He is well versed in the fields of modeling, risk management, reinsurance, capital markets, systems transformations, predictive analytics, and modernization of our clunky customer experiences.
Andrew currently oversees the modeling team, which includes risk management, capital management, and valuation functions for Stable Value Solutions Inc. Andrew previously held a variety of roles in Transamerica's Finance group, including broad in-force management responsibilities, asset-liability management account for a significant portion of Transamerica's general account, preparing for LIBOR reform, economic assumption setting, and talent development. Prior to Transamerica, Andrew held actuarial, reinsurance, and capital markets roles with Erie Insurance, Genworth, Hartford, USAA, Pan-American Life, Voya, and Prudential. Andrew is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®). He serves on the General Committee of the Actuarial Standards Board, Economic Scenario Generator Subcommittee of the American Academy of Actuaries, Executive Committee and Communications Committee and Board for SVIA, and chairs the Baltimore Advisory Committee of the Transamerica Foundation. Andrew lives in Ellicott City, MD, with his wife and two children (when they're home from The University of Maryland), and three pets. in his free time, he enjoys walking the dogs, boating (on the rare occasion when the boat is working),and fitness (yoga, body pump, and spinning).
